All applicants to UCW’s undergrad or master’s programs are eligible for these admissions rewards, scholarships, and grants. You are only qualified for one (1) award, including continuing students who are eligible for an additional award.
To be considered for grants, scholarships, or awards that fit your criteria, make sure to thoroughly read the requirements for each option and provide all required supporting documentation. Each period, only a certain number of grants and scholarships are offered.
International students studying in Vancouver for undergraduate or graduate degrees are given financial aid through the International Student Leaders Award. Students from all over the world who are committed to advancing their nation’s economy are eligible for this prize (with the exception of those from the United States).

Application Procedure For University of Canada West Scholarships 2023-2024:
- Fill out a Scholarship & Award Application while submitting your application to UCW.
- Your personal statement should outline the program’s potential effects on your career as well as your academic and personal goals, how you intend to support the growth of your country or region’s economy, and any hurdles you may face along the road.
- Awards requests must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the start of the applicant’s program.
- Awards must be fully submitted by this date in order to be considered; awards cannot be examined before admission is granted.
- Before the required paperwork is submitted, award applications cannot be reviewed.
- Before reaching a final decision about an award, the Registrar’s Office may occasionally ask for more supporting documents.

University of Canada West Entrance Awards:
University Canada West offers entrance awards to all students accepted into its graduate or undergraduate programs.
- One (1) entry prize will be given to you exclusively (limited exceptions apply; see below for more details).
- If you are eligible for more than one reward, the one with the highest value will be given to you automatically.
- These prizes are not valid for students enrolled in online programs.
- Until complete (i.e., unconditional) admittance has been granted, those who have been offered conditions cannot receive any money.
- Award winners are required to represent UCW in a positive light and actively participate in alumni outreach and engagement initiatives.
- Every award qualifies as a tuition credit.
- The following courses are not eligible for disbursal payment: New Student Orientation (NSO), ENGL 080, or any repeated course attempts (even if taken during the disbursement term).
