Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE)

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE) Limited, on behalf of the NNPC/NAE PSC, is dedicated to the training and development of human resources.

As a result, Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE) welcomes interested and qualified Nigerian graduates to apply for the 2023–2024 Postgraduate Scholarship Award Scheme. There are two categories for the award: –

1. Abroad – To pursue a degree at a reputed international university
2. Local – To enroll at a reputable university in Nigeria.

NOTE: Nigerian Agip Exploration (NAE)

• Applications submitted only via this web site will be taken into consideration.
• The official website for the 2023–2024 NAE Postgraduate Scholarship Award Scheme is SCHOLASTICA.
• Students that are interested should provide correct and comprehensive information.
• The computer-based test will be given on June 17, 2023, using a remote online proctoring test system, to the successful applicants from the application stage.
• Applications sent through email are not accepted.

Candidates who want to be considered for the 2023–2024 Nigerian Agip Exploration Post Graduate Scholarship Award program MUST:

1. a Second Class Upper Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited Nigerian university.
2. possess admission to a one-year Master’s degree program in one of the following disciplines from a Nigerian or an overseas university, depending on the application category.
3. By the end of the year 2023, you cannot be older than 28.
4. possess a one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) completion certificate.
5. hold a passport that is valid for travel abroad for at least a year starting in September 2023 (applicable to overseas category).

Study Program
Only candidates with admission offers in fields associated with the following fields should apply;

(Petroleum, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, Chemical) Geosciences Engineering
Law pertaining to Petroleum Economics (Oil and Gas/Petroleum)

Please be aware:

1. Only those who have been shortlisted will be contacted to schedule an aptitude test.
2. By SMS text and email (be careful to provide working phone numbers), shortlisted candidates will be informed about the qualifying test.
3. This award is not open to dependents of NAE and other affiliate firms’ employees.
4. No current or former recipients of comparable prizes from NAE, other affiliated businesses, or agencies are permitted.
5. Before beginning this application, please carefully read the instructions to prevent mistakes and disqualification.
6. Strict adherence to the aforementioned rules is necessary.

By responding to this invitation to apply for Post Graduate scholarship awards, applicants are NOT entitling themselves to assert any claims against NAE and/or any of its partners or to seek any indemnity from NAE and/or any of its partners by virtue of completing the application form and test invitation.

For a chosen one-year course of study, the NAE scholarship award covers tuition, books, field trips, lodging, living expenses, and a round-trip economy ticket.

SECTION A

1. Before beginning the application process, candidates should have the following properly scanned documents:

• 450 x 450 pixel white background passport photo that is no older than six months.
• Provisional admission letter for the 2023–2024 academic year at any respected local or international university.
• The course listed on the candidate’s application must be covered by this admission letter.
• Certificate for the first degree
• Discharge Certificate from NYSC
• (Driver’s license, voter’s card, national identity card) valid identification
• Only valid for travel beginning at least one year after September 2023 is the valid international passport data page for the overseas category.
• birth certificate issued by a local authority
• Form for NAE Compliance Declaration

2. The NAE Compliance Declaration Form must be filled out and signed by each candidate. Visit https://dragnetscreening.ng/files/NAE_compliance2024.pdf to get the NAE Compliance Declaration Form.
3. Give the scanned papers the appropriate labels to prevent confusion during upload.
4. Include the correct files in the relevant upload box.

SECTION B

To apply, go to the following website and follow the instructions: https://candidate.scholastica.ng/schemes/thennpcltdnaescholarships2023.

1. Select “Apply Now” from the tabs.
2. To register, simply click the “Register Now” button.
3. To activate your account, go to your email box.
4. To return to the Scholarship website, click www.scholastica.ng.
5. To create your profile, enter your registered email address and password.
6. Only the Personal Details, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate sections must be completed by candidates. Additionally, candidates must only upload pertinent documents (see section A). Note to applicants for the overseas category: It is encouraged for applicants to the Overseas category to additionally submit an application for the Local Post Graduate Scholarship Award.
7. Candidates are not necessary to download the undergraduate profile verification form from the application portal or fill out the secondary level, bank data, or other relevant fields.
8. Make sure the names on any supporting documentation are spelled exactly as they are in the application. If not, upload a sworn affidavit or certificate.
9. To prevent upload issues, make sure you view every document after uploading.
10. Check the application’s details again to prevent mistakes.
11. Applicants can submit their information by clicking “Apply Now” at https://candidate.scholastica.ng/schemes/thennpcltdnaescholarships2023 or by going back to the website’s main page and selecting the 2023/2024 NAE Postgraduate Scholarship Awards to be taken to the application page.
12. An email confirming the outcome of your application will be sent to you.
