Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Hip Hop Teacher for the upcoming 2023/2024 season in Ontario, Canada.
As a Hip Hop Teacher, you will be responsible for instructing students of various ages and skill levels in the art of hip hop dance.
Your role will involve designing and delivering engaging lessons, choreographing routines, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:
- Expertise in Hip Hop Dance: The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding and mastery of hip hop dance techniques, styles, and culture. You should be knowledgeable about the history, evolution, and current trends in hip hop.
- Teaching Experience: Prior experience as a dance instructor, specifically teaching hip hop, is essential. You should have a proven track record of effectively teaching and engaging students of various ages and skill levels.
- Choreography Skills: Strong choreography skills are necessary to create dynamic and innovative dance routines that challenge and inspire students. The ability to adapt choreography to different skill levels and performance opportunities is highly valued.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: As a Hip Hop Teacher, you will be interacting with students, parents, and fellow faculty members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial to effectively convey instructions, provide constructive feedback, and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Passion and Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for hip hop dance and teaching is a fundamental requirement. Your enthusiasm for the art form should be infectious, inspiring students to explore their creativity and reach their full potential.
- Organization and Time Management: The ability to plan and organize lessons, manage class schedules, and meet deadlines is essential. You should be adept at structuring your lessons to ensure optimal learning outcomes and be able to efficiently manage your time.
- Qualifications: While not mandatory, having relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in dance, performing arts, or a related field will be advantageous. Additionally, certifications in dance education or relevant professional affiliations are beneficial.
