- Cultivate inner and exterior linkages and partnerships with different healthcare professionals and collaborate with community resources.
- Maintain a professional, open, equitable and service-oriented relationship with everyone
Knowledge, Expertise and Skills:
- Information and understanding of the history of First Nation communities in Canada and the present health and social points together with cultural awareness
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication abilities and the power to work successfully with a wide range of individuals and circumstances
- Capacity to show, facilitate studying, and assist adoption of health programs and practices
- Self-directed with demonstrated organizational skills
Experience and Education Necessities:
- Member in good standing of the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC)
- Bachelor of Nursing diploma from a Canadian College or equal combination of training and experience
- 1+ year expertise working in a similar place in a rural / remote setting and with First Nation communities considered an asset
- Experience working with palliative or elders care thought-about an asset
- Willing to gain further certification, schooling and skills as required
- BCCDC Immunization Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to efficiently and periodically endure an appropriate criminal records review and police report check is required.
