About the university
The only women’s university in Canada is Brescia University College, a branch of Western University. Brescia offers students all the benefits of a small campus and full access to the resources of a larger university. Adjacent to Western’s London campus, a friendly and safe community two hours west of Toronto. Founded as a Catholic university in 1919, Brescia welcomes students from all nations and religions. Humanities, Food and Nutritional Sciences, Behavioral and Social Sciences, and Leadership and Social Change are the four schools into which academic programs are divided. Brescia has a coeducational pre-university program (preparatory year), a postgraduate degree in nutrition, and a number of postgraduate diploma programs, most of which are offered at the undergraduate level.

We offer mentoring opportunities so that our students can grow as individuals outside of the classroom as well as within it!
We have a variety of summer courses available at all levels:
undergraduate, graduate student or post-baccalaureate certificate programs (which include both online coursework). In addition, we offer evening classes during specific semesters for adults who want additional flexibility during their academic careers; these evening courses include both full-time daytime hours as well as evening hours each weeknight after 5pm until 10pm Monday through Thursday evenings unless otherwise noted below.

We also offer shared apartments with 4 or more beds per apartment type (apartment types 1-4), so you can always find someone when you need them!
